ABOUT THE EDITORS’ FORUM
The role of editor can be a lonely one. We hope that through the Magazines Ireland Editors’ Forum editors can come together to learn, share and support each other. The Forum organises events for magazine editors and looks at how editors can support and encourage their editorial staff and give them the opportunity to step up to more senior roles in the future. We also believe that editors must mentor younger journalists and junior editors to make sure that the next generation of magazines is supported by the best talent available. A key role for the Magazines Ireland Editors’ Forum is to make sure that the best young journalists in our organisations are encouraged and developed.
