Subscription Marketing Coordinator

Harmonia, Ireland’s leading magazine Publisher and Event Management Company is currently recruiting a highly experienced, self-motivated, enthusiastic Subscription Marketing Co-Ordinator.

This role will report directly to the Marketing & PR Manager. The ideal candidate will work on Ireland leading subscription titles such as Woman’s Way, U Magazine, Irish Tatler, Irish Tatler Man, Food&Wine and Ireland of the Welcomes.  

The role will cover brand campaign planning, implementation, thorough analysis and presentation of results into the marketing planning cycle. Collating and presenting recommendations for future activity under the guidance of the Marketing Manager. Also sourcing suitable gifts for subscription promotions and creating compelling promotional material.  

Brief Outline of the Role and Responsibilities:

  • Magazine campaigns: Produce compelling activity across page adverts; devise a robust plan to continue to drive acquisition and retention subscriptions readers and source subscriptions incentives.
  • Direct mail: Manage the direct mail campaign cycle. Produce a detailed list plan and time line for activity.
  • Website: Manage the promotion of subscriptions across Harmonia websites and external subscription websites to drive subscription acquisition and retention.
  • New activity: Continually look for additional innovative ways of promoting and marketing subscriptions.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of devising and implementing marketing promotional campaigns, as well as compiling analysis and creating reports.
  • Proven track record of prioritising and managing workload in order to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, time management and organisational skills.

  • Inform clients of relevant marketing strategies throughout the year i.e. - special cover price offers, subs offers, ad campaigns, brand extensions, cross promotion, etc
  • Ongoing monitoring and regular internal presentation of key client data i.e. segmentation of clients by sector, by spend direct and agency year on year.
  • Create regular ezine’s and newsletters to send to all clients.

Skills, knowledge & experience;

  • Proven 7+ years media sales experience (ideally within Women’s magazines)
  • A proven track record in achieving monthly / quarterly and annual targets
  • Have a good understanding and experience of working with fashion and beauty brands, media planners and buyers at all levels.
