Advertising Manager – Irish Country Magazine


Irish Country Magazine is seeking applications for the position of Advertising Manager (maternity

cover).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-selling, multi award-winning women’s glossy magazine

with a growing circulation, currently ABC audited at 24,309 copies per issue.

You will be responsible for the advertising sales target, for developing and maintaining a vibrant

client base and for actively promoting Irish Country Magazine. You will contribute to its

development as the leading publication in the industry, working closely with the editorial and

marketing teams. You will develop and manage advertising key customer relationships with current

and new businesses across Irish Country Magazine, as well as grow digital revenue. You will also

attend relevant events nationwide to develop relationships with current and new advertisers and

grow advertising revenue.

Candidates are required to have:

 3 – 5 years’ sales experience

 An ability to be creative and solution-focused, delivering new revenue, results and success

 Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets

 Ability to work to strict deadlines

 High level of interpersonal and communication skills

 Experience in dealing with leading brands, as well as selling events and sponsorships

 Computer literacy to a competent level

 Digital and social media experience

 Ambitious – confident and well presented

 Excellent relationship management skills

 Well organised with exceptional attention to detail

 Experience and interest in magazines

 Full clean driving licence
