We’re delighted to see so much talent and achievement recognised at our annual rish Magazine Awards now in their 13th year The fantastic number of entries we received for a categories and the wonderful support shown by publishers in Ireland is truly overwhelming and continues to show just how strong the magazine publishing sector is in Ireland Submissions spanning the fields of consumer business and custom publishing were scrutinised by the distinguished panel of independent experts led bySamantha Holman. We would like to thank the Executive Committee who worked tirelessly on a range of agenda items during the year.
And also a big thank you to all the members for their support of the association during the year. It has been another challenging year for all of us but Magazines lreland will continue to work on your behalf to promote and protect the interests of magazine publishers.

Sally Cartwright, is the guest speaker at the Irish Magazine Awards 2013. She is a former director at large of Hello! magazine, a position she took after 17 years as
publishing director.
Mairéad Farrell is senior producer of the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM (Monday - Friday 7 to 9). Over the last 10 years she has featured on various TV shows for RTÉ including The Panel from 2006 until 2011. In 2010,
she took part in RTÉ’s Celebrity Bainisteoir where she took her team Ballymun Kickhams to the Final. Following that, she took over presenting the show and its new format Celebrity Bainisteoir The Rivals.
